Managing Lawyer - 12 months Parental leave cover
About the role
This role provides high quality advice and representation to clients in relation to the legal issues arising from their experience of sexual abuse, including in relation to their redress options.
This role reports directly to the Principal Lawyer and leads a local legal team while working co-operatively with knowmore’s other teams, to ensure clients’ legal and related needs are identified and actioned in an effective and consistent way and all timelines are met.
The Managing Lawyer conducts regular file reviews and monitor and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of service delivery standards, policies and precedents. The role also represent knowmore’s legal practice in internal and external meetings and forums, developing collaborative working relationships with other service providers.

Solicitor, Minimum 3 Years PAE & Unrestricted Practicing Certificate WestSide Lawyers

Required Skills
The successful candidate will hold or be eligible to immediately obtain a current unrestricted practicing certificate in South Australia.
You will be a good all-rounder with experience providing high quality advice and representation in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Law & Civil Law.
You will be able to work autonomously and cooperatively in a team environment with moderate supervision. You will have strong analytical and written communication skills to provide a high level of legal assistance, be highly organised and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to appear as an advocate in court.
